Netflix to Add Five New Original Shows

Since I do not subscribe to cable or satellite, I enjoy discovering creative shows that keep me interested and wanting more. Netflix, the online video giant, continues to reel me in with creative, original programming.

According to Reddit, Netflix has plans to release five more original shows for the entire family. I am already on pins and needles just thinking about the opportunities.
My children are adults now, but I remember searching for the perfect age-appropriate, series. Netflix is making the search easier. Four animated children’s shows are scheduled to be available: Tarzan and Jane, An Army of Frogs, Puffin Rock, Gravity4 and Cirque du Soleil Luna Petunia. All of which sound intriguing for their younger audience.
Teenagers are not left out of the excitement either. The video empire will provide new episodes of the Canadian drama, Degrassi. Netflix has plans to release the new series, Degrassi: Next Class in 2016.

Of course, the announcement would not be complete without introducing adult programming. Upon the success of House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, new territory must be trudged. Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp which is based on the film with the same name by David Wain is scheduled to premier July 17th.
